Coloured Switches and Sockets are launched

A curated range of neutral coloured switches and sockets are launched that blend with a neutral interior scheme has been launched by home decor brand and retailer Dowsing & Reynolds.

We all need electricity for our daily lives and spend a great deal of time and effort in designing our homes. So why then, not take that to the next step with switches? One company has taken that step.

The range is aimed especially at people who are using earthy, tonal colours in their interiors and are making design choices that make them feel grounded in and comforted by their homes.

    Inspiration for your home

With product names inspired by cafe culture, the collection provides three understated alternatives to standard white plastic or metallic finishes. The three shades are Cinnamon, Whipped Cream and Caramel Latte – recognisable for their attractive smells and colour palettes.

Co-owners Ally and James Dowsing-Reynolds understand the effect the home can have on our mood, so it’s with this in mind that they decided to launch the collection.

“Recent times have led us to search for ways to feel more grounded and create safe spaces at home, and that’s what we hope to inspire with our new collection.

“Neutral, earthy colour palettes are big for 2021 but beautiful switches and sockets to complement these can be hard to find. Not everyone wants white plastic or luxurious metallic switches that can sometimes jar with soft, neutral wall colours.

The three colours blend and tone harmoniously with warm neutral palettes of paint colours, including Brave Ground™, Dulux’s colour of the year 2021.
