There’s an updated app to help you go Electric and its been relaunched by Audi UK. A free app via the Android / Apple Stores, the app has been designed to help you make the switch to a full Electric (BEV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Of course the comparison is against the Audi range however its a great tool to help understand the difference.
Pick a petrol or diesel car that you drive now, select your milage you do in a year and it’ll give you a comparison against one of the range in fuel costs and environmental impact.
If you don’t know the mileage you do, or even if you think you do, more accurate cost savings can be calculated if you let the app auto-track you for a while. Using your phone’s location, it’ll track your journey’s to help give you an accurate cost saving over the course of just 6 journeys.
The app allows customers to see the cost savings of switching from a petrol or diesel vehicle into an Audi BEV or PHEV by answering just a few simple questions.
On top of that, the app is filled with handy guides and articles outlining the many benefits of Audi’s BEV and PHEV model ranges. Customers can watch our easy-guide films, chat live to an EV specialist, locate an Audi Centre, discover live model offers, and even book a test drive.

What’s new to EV&me App:
It’s a great tool to play with and realise the cost for those unsure of going to EV. Just picking some figures, 10-25,000 miles for a diesel shows an electric cost of £69 and compared to diesel of £189 – some big savings to be made, not forgetting approximately 25% less maintenance costs and environmental impact. Even if you don’t go Audi, it could be worth a look.
